Twenty Questions : Saeed Agboke
A quickfire 20 questions for one of our newest recruits, Projects Administrator, Saeed Agboke, on all the important things in life!
Question one : give us a quick run down of a typical day at suna for you?
I start with attending to all emails that require attention before assisting the designers with purchase orders and the ordering of furniture, fabrics and other items whilst making sure prices and total costs are accurate on our in house system. Then I will chase up any outstanding items from our suppliers, making sure they are delivered to the right location on time. Along with other members of the operation team I handle incoming calls, welcome visitors, sign for deliveries, helping the designers to work as efficiently as possible.
QUESTION TWO : If you weren’t in your current role, what other career could you have seen yourself doing?
Professional Rugby Player.
QUESTION three : What does an ‘ideal weekend’ look like?
A marathon of premier league football which has to include an Arsenal win, followed by evenings spent with friends.
QUESTION four : tell us about your Favourite Suna interior design project?
The Chapel for Mount Anvil at Hampstead Manor for it’s continuity and near enough perfect integration of both old and modern, combined with an impressively luxurious finish. If the ceiling height isn’t to die for you have to see the amount of natural light which penetrates the glass ceilings. I have always thought about the effects architecture or design can have on a community and with the design of The Chapel I felt that the transformation was so overwhelming that it motivates me to do better!
QUESTION five : describe yourself in three words.
Confident, sociable and efficient.
