The opportunity to work with a brand that is synonymous with being bold, brave, and bringing an effervescent energy to London’s rental market, what’s not to love?
Over the past year or so, Suna has been focused on bringing a fresh, creative approach to the communal interiors across Fizzy developments. Since December 2021, Fizzy has been part of Greystar Real Estate's expanding portfolio, a global leader in property management, and the Suna design team has enjoyed closely collaborating with Greystar to roll out the new design across multiple developments
With a portfolio of nearly 1,000 homes, Fizzy Living has developments that are well-located and close to public transport in Canning Town, Lewisham, Epsom, Stepney Green, Poplar, Walthamstow, Hayes, and Silvertown. The strapline ‘Reinventing Renting’ hits the nail on the head as Fizzy continues to build strong, close-knit communities through events and initiatives that support and connect their residents.
The on-site management teams provide excellent customer service and are regularly seen going the extra mile. The Fizzy App also allows residents to keep in touch with all the happenings within their building and the local community. And if that wasn’t enough, your beloved pets are not only welcomed but encouraged!
Ranging from smaller entrance lobbies right through to large residents’ amenity spaces, it was important that we retained the essence and identity of Fizzy. Agreeing a strong palette of rich orange, vibrant yellow, deep charcoal and a soft pink, colours which derive from the brand guidelines, we then paired these with tactile leathers and warm oak tones to ground the scheme and create a balance of playfulness and maturity. This was all about creating a cohesive concept and palette that could flex across the variety of properties, bearing in mind the need for robust materiality which would stand the test of time.
The iconic neon signs across all Fizzy sites were key element that we wanted to retain. Giving these a fresh look with a warm and inviting yellow tone, we placed these on a matt black backdrop to really let the colour shine.
The bespoke concierge desks have been refreshed across all sites, where we have introduced a tiled façade through pops of the orange, yellow and pink. The addition of an oak finish elevates the design and where possible we have integrated a pet station into the desk, so pampered pooches are welcomed with open arms and doggy treats!
Residents are welcome to grab a refreshment too - the coffee counter at Walthamstow is great addition to the open plan concierge and coworking space, encouraging the sense of community among those who are living there. Keeping the cabinetry sleek in a charcoal grey but bringing through a geometric pattern on the tiled splashback felt right on brand. Alongside this, the banquette seating we introduced emulates the coworking cafe culture that has continued to grow with the influx of hybrid working, meaning residents can enjoy all of these benefits on home turf.
