Covid-19 : Update

7.4.20

As things seems to be changing almost daily at the moment we felt we should update you, our clients, on where things currently stand for all of us at Suna Interior Design.

As before, we are still working to ensure that the well-being and health & safety of our staff is at the top of our priority list, alongside our desire to support all of our clients and continue to provide the high level of service we pride ourselves on. Our collaborative approach to working, internally and externally, is a fundamental part of our Suna ethos and never more relevant than in these difficult times.

During the last couple of weeks we have managed to get everybody set up to be able to work from home. We are still incredibly busy on new schemes and our operations team are continuing to liaise with our suppliers and clients to keep everyone updated on the progress of the current and new projects in the pipeline.

We are finding that the main impact is on the show home and marketing suite installations. We have been notified by many of our suppliers that they have shut the manufacturing side of their businesses. Unfortunately this means we will now have delays on some of our projects.

We will of course be in touch with each of our clients about each of the projects that we are collaborating on, but as a general rule we would expect there to be a 3 week delay on all planned installations. This is based on the current lock down period, if this is increased then there may be further delays but we will keep everyone updated as we go along.

In addition after today our offices will be closed which means we will not be able to receive any deliveries. We are in touch with all suppliers to ensure that any scheduled deliveries are postponed and to ensure any missed deliveries are rescheduled for when we reopen.

All other aspects of our business are being carried out as normal so we are pleased to be able to reassure you that all design work is on schedule and we look forward to presenting our schemes to you.

We have been successfully liaising with our clients via video conferencing and managing to present remotely which we will continue to do to ensure we hit our design deadlines and get everything across to our clients as required.

We are keen to continue to support our staff, clients and suppliers through these unprecedented times and would like to thank you you all for your understanding and co-operation over the coming weeks and months.

Keep safe and keep in touch.

Kind regards,

Helen & Becks
