BTR is booming and our services are in demand!


The Build to Rent sector HAs grown exponentially over the last few years and we’ve most definitely grown with it. Where it was once the exception, it now accounts for a large proportion of our workload. So we have updated our website to dedicate a whole portfolio page to it.

As a full service interior design agency, we already specialised in interior specification, communal areas and marketing suites, with a huge back catalogue of successful examples.
As the BTR market started to slowly emerge it was a natural progression to take all these transferable skills and move into this emerging market.


COLINDALE GARDENS FOR REDROW

Our first foray into this field was in 2021 with Redrow on their scheme in Colindale (on behalf of their client M&G). A ‘land-locked’ area in the centre of the scheme has been transformed into a highly flexible residents’ amenity space, complete with concierge, post room, co-working zones and areas to relax and interact with fellow residents and friends. We put a real focus on flexibility to ensure the space is activated at all times of the day. The last thing a client wants is to spend a load of time and money creating an area that looks Instagram worthy but is never actually used because it doesn’t meet its residents’ needs. This space, whilst relatively compact, gives maximum bang for buck and definitely gives the scheme a USP.

COPPERMAKER SQUARE FOR UNIBAIL-RODEMCO-WESTFIELD

Coppermaker Square at Westfield Stratford City really allowed us to stretch our design muscle. Here we got to design the frankly incredible amount of residents’ amenities along with the interior specification for the more than twelve hundred apartments. This design process was a labour of love for over two years, and it was incredible to see it all start to come to life last year. The scheme is now becoming well-established with multiple phases finished and home to new residents making full use of the myriad of Suna-designed amenities on offer to them – a full wellness centre with pool, gym and fitness suites, co-working areas, gaming areas, relaxing areas a fully equipped private dining area, private cinema. The list goes on…..

FIZZY FOR GREYSTAR

As the original designers to collaborate with Fizzy on their BTR development in East 16 we were the natural partners to work with Greystar on evolving the brand and rolling it out into multiple Fizzy developments. We were tasked with updating the aesthetic to ensure that the new Fizzy look kept the playfulness and ethos of the existing brand but allowed it to sit within Greystar brand family. We chose to deepen some of the colours to provide a richer backdrop and more restricted palette, which elevated the interiors and allows the more vibrant elements of the design to really sing out. The neon ‘Fizzy’ has always been a calling card of this brand and by mounting the new yellow neon lettering onto the rich charcoal tiled wall we feel we have retained the fun whilst future proofing the overall look. The completed work showcases how this new approach can flex into many different locations.
